The Lucy 1415 | Rendering-to-Reality

The Lucy Plan 1415 is under construction in Danville, VA!

Tim Younger of Younger Construction is currently building The Lucy house plan 1415 in Danville, Virginia. The Burke family began construction of their dream home in June of 2018. Despite a slow start due to rain, they have made great progress and their target completion time is early 2019. They also plan to add a beautiful patio setting with an in-ground pool. We are excited to watch this home progress from Rendering-to-Reality!

Update: Completed Interiors!

2239 sq ft, 4 beds, 3 baths

A simplified roofline creates interest with thoughtfully placed gable accents. Tapered columns highlight the front porch and welcome guests to the sidelight framed entry. Inside, the floor plan is equally thoughtful, with a spacious great room, open kitchen with island, and single dining space. The master suite is expansive with dual walk-in closets and a bathroom comfortably suited for two. Additional features include a walk-in pantry, oversized utility room, three-car garage, and an inviting screened porch with cathedral ceiling, skylights, and a fireplace. Two additional bedrooms and a study round-out this classic design.

Thanks so much for publishing! Your home is beautiful! We just started framing our Lucy this week. We also created a single island plus incorporated the entry closet into the master closet. Thanks for the pics of the pantry. That helps me to better visualize the space.

Michelle, our island will be much like the beautiful one pictured here in the home of the Burke family. We omitted the peninsula in the original plan and drew in an island that will be approximately 7 feet wide and 4 feet deep with an overhang for seating. We were careful to leave plenty of room for walking. Our sink, dishwasher and drawer style microwave will all be in the island. I will send pics when we get to that point.

Thanks Mark! We are very excited about the house. We actually loved how you guys combined the bar with the island and are doing the same. Really opens up the space. Thanks for the idea!
