Hi I am just wondering what the average cost is for a house like the park ridge plan being built? I would also like to know the same information about the Flagler Plan. So sorry to bother you about this. I am a younger adult and in the process of saving! So exciting! Thank you so much for your help I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!!! ๐
Thanks for asking, Alyssa, it’s never too early to start planning! We aren’t able to track cost-to-build because it varies from time-to-time and place-to-place – and things like personal taste and the price of land have a big impact as well. You will get the most accurate information by talking to local builders, materials suppliers, and friends/family who may have built a home in the past. Start saving your favorite plans in your myDAG account, and show them to a builder to get a ballpark estimate. When it gets closer to time to build, you can order a Study Set of plans which a builder can use to provide a more accurate estimate. Use our Find a Builder page to find builders in your area who have worked with our plans before.
Keep reading and learning about the home building process so you will be well-prepared when you’re ready to get started! If you haven’t already, sign up for our monthly eDAG Newsletter and Plan of the Week emails, and keep reading our Blog for helpful info. And feel free to ask more questions, we’re happy to help!
