Hi we love this floor plan. Can you explain the pantry area? I want just a walk in pantry. Thanks
Hi Shirley, this is designed as a pantry/mud room. As you enter the home you can drop bags, shoes, and coats, along with pantry items on your way to the kitchen. If you prefer, you can modify this space to close the entry at the garage and make this a large walk-in pantry.
The Coleraine Plan #1335 is a pretty awesome floor plan, a lot to like! Is their a version of this floor plan or one like it that switches the master suite (Bedroom, closets and bath) with the other 2 bedrooms/bath. My wife would like to keep the kids near the bonus room and utility area.

Can you tell me the dimensions of full bath and master bath in the Coleraine? Thank you!
Hello, The master bathroom is 9’6″ x 12’6″ and the second bathroom is 7’10” x 5’6″.
Thank you!

Hi Vann, to get started, submit our online modification request form and let our designers know your desired changes.
I am very interested in building this house and wondering if there are any pictures available yet? I appreciate any you have. Thanks
Hi Vonda, I’m afraid we have not received any photos at this time. We will be sure to update the website if any are provided by a customer.
We are still very interested in this houseplan. My husband would like to know the roof pitch. Thank you.
Hi Vonda, the roof pitch on the Coleraine Plan 1335 is 9/12. Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Do you have any pics from Katie yet?
Not yet, Kim.
Love this plan! Are there any pictures of a house built using this plan? I would love to see some exterior and interior pictures? Thanks!

We too are almost done building this house plan with more rustic farmhouse type finishes and minor floor plan modifications. Can’t wait to share ๐
That’s wonderful Katie! We would love to see pictures when you’re done. You can email them to [email protected] if you would like to share them for our website and social media.
Do you have any pictures to share yet? We are thinking about ordering this plan but would love to see pictures first. Thank you

Mrs. Katie,
Hey, my name is Brody. My wife and I are very interested in this floor plan. Is there any way you can send us pictures of what the house actually looks like? We are thinking of modifying a few things as well.
Hi!
I am looking into building this home. Can you offer any pictures or comments about this plan? Thanks!
Can you share these pics please?
I am interested in building this house, I have seen the pictures of this house that someone built. It has white paint exterior with black shutters. Did you happen to be the one who built that house?
Hi Whitney. No, we have another homeowner that submitted those photos of The Coleraine.
Did you post pictures?
Katie, I would love to see your finished pictures…we are in the process of building now…I would b glad to send you my email address!
Any ideas about the cost to build this home? Live in rural North Carolina.
Hi Tre,
We do not offer cost to build estimates because it varies a great deal from time-to-time and place-to-place. A local builder will be able to provide you with the most accurate estimate for your area. We offer Materials Lists and Study Sets:
Materials Lists are $75.00 and include a list of all of the structural materials needed to build the home. This list can be sent to various suppliers for pricing. Combined with a general per-square-foot estimate from a local builder, the quotes that you receive from the Materials List should bring you closer to a more accurate cost to build.
Study Sets are exact replicas of the standard plans, but are stamped “Not for Construction” and do not come with a License to Build from the architect. You have 90 days to upgrade from the Study Set to a licensed package, and when you upgrade, all that you have spent, minus a $45 print fee, will be applied towards the package of your choice. You may upgrade to the same plan or to a different Don Gardner plan.
Okay. Thank you Emily. We like this plan, and I just noticed the similar plan suggestions the website gives, so we can look at slightly smaller or larger plans.
Thanks again.

We love this house…we think. Very visual people. Any chance you’d have some 3D renderings of what the inside would look like when completed? It’s so hard to say ‘yes, build this house for me’ when you have no idea what it will look like.
Hi Jessica,
We don’t have 3D renderings, but whenever someone sends photos of this home we will be sure to post them! We can also help with additional details and dimensions if you have any questions: [email protected]
Does anyone know someone who has built this house? I love the plans but would really love to see the built house.
Hi Rhonda! This is one of our newest plans, so there likely haven’t been any completed builds yet. We have some exterior photos of a similar plan, The Violet #1016, that might be helpful! We are happy to help with details and dimensions as well.
I am having it built right now. Should be done by December so u can show you then!!:) my email is [email protected] I need advice on vinyl siding color combos if you have advice!! Thanks!
Hi Erica,
The Coleraine Plan is set up on HomePlay, an online tool that lets you choose different siding, trim, and window combinations so you can visualize the finished exterior. Here’s a link so you can try it out! The Coleraine Plan on HomePlay
We hope the building process goes smoothly for you, and we’d love to see photos one day!
This is a perfect house plan. The only thing that would make it better would be 1/2 bath near laundry room and access to the two bedrooms on the left from the bedroom it’s self. I absolutely love this house plan with a deeper screened porch. Love my screened porch. Would love this when I get to retire and downsize.
Frustrating. I have to look and look for the square feet of these homes. It should be right there with pix of home and/or floor plan.
Thank you for the suggestion, Karen! We can certainly start including that information in our blog posts going forward!
The Coleraine Plan is 1905 sq. ft. with an additional 472 in the bonus room.
