House Plan 1546 has been named The Francis and is now available!

Cedar shakes provide balance to the board-and-batten exterior of this modest Craftsman home plan. A front entry garage and narrower footprint make this design ideal for a neighborhood lot. Shutters frame the windows and a front porch creates a charming aesthetic.

The floor plan lives large despite its modest square footage, with a cathedral ceiling that extends from the kitchen to the great room. A fireplace provides warmth while an array of skylights in the great room and one in the kitchen flood this space with natural light. A window over the sink offers views to the backyard and a rear deck extends living outdoors. A spacious dining room works equally well for formal or casual meals and a pantry is near the kitchen for easy storage.

The master bedroom is a private wing with a cathedral ceiling and abundant windows. The master bathroom features a dual-sink vanity, walk-in shower, linen closet and a sun tunnel in the water closet. The bathroom leads to an oversized walk-in closet with plenty of space for two wardrobes.

To the opposite side of the floor plan, two additional bedrooms share a bathroom and a linen closet. The garage enters the home through a mud room with a drop zone and the utility room is adjoining. A bonus room and bathroom are upstairs for a guest suite or media space.

The floor plan opens to a foyer with coat closet and a dining space defined by columns and a tray ceiling. Skylights accent a cathedral ceiling in the great room and a fireplace is flanked by built-in shelves. The cathedral ceiling continues to the kitchen where an island provides additional work space to the L-shaped design. A pantry is near the garage entry, proving convenient when carting in groceries, while a pocket door keeps messes contained in the utility room.

The master suite enjoys a large window to welcome rear views and a cathedral ceiling to enhance the visual space of the room. Luxury awaits in the master bathroom with a dual-sink vanity and a spa-quality walk-in shower. A linen closet and massive walk-in closet round out the master suite. Two additional bedrooms are available with a shared linen closet and full bathroom. Upstairs, find an optional bonus room and full bathroom. This space is ideal for an additional bedroom, guest suite, or media room.
