Conceptual House Plan 1506

Leave us your feedback and suggestions at the bottom of this post!

Conceptual house plan 1506 is an updated version of The Coleraine house plan 1335! This home features a board-and-batten exterior and a charming front porch. Shutters frame the windows and a metal roof accent creates exceptional curb-appeal.

The foyer offers a coat closet and opens to a shared great room/dining space topped with a cathedral ceiling that is adorned with decorative beams. A fireplace is flanked by built-in shelves and double doors open to a rear screened porch with skylights. The kitchen is spacious with an island with bar seating at the center. A front-facing window is above the sink and a butler’s pantry and storage pantry are just steps away.

The garage enters the home through a mudroom with built-in cubbies and a powder room makes use of square footage near the bonus staircase. The master suite opens to a rear porch and the master bathroom is luxurious with a dual-sink vanity, a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower. An over-sized walk-in closet is spacious enough for two wardrobes and opens directly into the utility room to simplify laundry day. The utility room is also accessible from the mudroom. On the opposite side of the floor plan, two large bedrooms share a bathroom with a dual-sink vanity and a private shower room.

A bonus room is above the garage for storage, a hobby room, or a future expansion.

Outdoor Living and Backyard Trends for Spring and Summer

Outdoor living allows you to enjoy your home and yard in a fuller sense. Rather than a few chairs on the patio, today’s outdoor living trends bring all of the features and functions of your home outdoors. Not only do you get a fun space to relax and unwind, you extend the square footage of your home and add value exponentially. Here are some of the top backyard living ideas to watch.

Outdoor Kitchens

Outdoor kitchens upgrade the simple grill station with counters, running water, refrigerators and other amenities. It’s so much more convenient to cook and entertain outside than run back and forth from the indoor kitchen. This is a top desired trend among new homebuyers.

Find home design inspiration with Greenery

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, we have gathered a collection of home design photography with green hues! “A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings”.

According to Pantone, greenery is nature’s neutral. Incorporate greenery as an exterior accent color on trim or gables. Deeper shades of green combined with earthy tones creates a palette that blends with its natural surroundings. Inside your home plan, use different shades and intensities of green to create a diverse style that is serene and inviting.
