Conceptual Design #1421 is an updated version of The Larkspur house plan #715. The exterior is renewed and modernized with arch-top windows, rustic wooden brackets, and multiple arches over the front porch.
Family and formal living areas combine for a comfortable house plan that is great for entertaining. The elegant formal dining room is set off by dual columns leading to the windowed great room. The spacious kitchen of this house plan ties the formal space to the breakfast nook and cozy family room at the rear of the home. A walk-in pantry, oversized family studio, and bonus room add function, while a luxurious master suite with uniquely angled sitting area create a perfect place to relax in this house plan.
This one-story Craftsman design, split bedroom house plan offers everything today’s families need without wasted space. The Carrollton’s stone and siding facade brings classic traditional style to any neighborhood. Inside, the kitchen, dining room and great room are wide open, creating a feeling of spaciousness. Angled columns in the dining room and an angled kitchen counter add visual interest to the space. In the great room, a cathedral ceiling adds even more volume. The private master suite features a cathedral ceiling, generous walk-in closet and a space-saving pocket door in the master bathroom. Two additional bedrooms share a hall bath. The spacious screened porch can be accessed through the kitchen, great room and one of the bedrooms. The house plan features bonus space over the garage which is the perfect location for a media room, hobby room or play room.
It’s no secret that the kitchen is the heart of a home — more than just a space for cooking, it’s the place where family and friends congregate, projects are finished and meals are shared.
Of course the kitchen needs floors that can stand up to the kind of ongoing use that the kitchen requires. How do you know which kitchen flooring options make the most sense for your kitchen? What is the best kitchen flooring for you?
