Conceptual House Plan 1503

Leave us your feedback and suggestions at the bottom of this post!

Conceptual Design 1503 is an updated version of The Courtney house plan 706. The exterior is modern with a mix of vertical and horizontal siding. Multiple gables and a metal accent roof create interest for this compact design. With a two-car, front entry garage and a narrow width, this design will work well on smaller land lots.

The first floor includes a two-story great room with fireplace and built-in bookshelves. The chef inspired kitchen offers a spacious island that overlooks the living spaces, a walk-in pantry, and an adjacent dining room. The master suite invites relaxation with a thoughtful master bathroom and a walk-in closet illuminated with natural light. Skylights top the master bedroom to brighten the space. The garage enter the home through a mud room and the utility room, powder room and multiple storage closets offer organization and convenience.

The second floor is open to the foyer below and shelves are available to store books and art. Two large bedrooms share a full bathroom and a bonus room offers space for a future expansion, home theater or game room.

Looking for our retirement home with a first floor Master and this is great. I’ve admired Courtney for years but always wanted to tweak the layout. This is what I had in mind. My only thought is, is there any way to add some kind of office nook so I don’t have to use stairs to have an office?

Thank you for the feedback, Carol! We could definitely look at modification ideas to add an office on the first floor if that plan is ordered. Contact us if you would like more information – 1-800-388-7580.

This is a great small footprint plan for a small family. I need to alert my daughter to it – I wouldn’t suggest they change a thing.
