Conceptual house plan 1456 is an update to The Ironwood 1331-D. This design has a second floor instead of a walkout basement. Cedar shakes and stone create a rustic exterior for this angled courtyard-entry, Craftsman design.
The foyer enters this open floor plan to a dining room framed in columns and a great room topped with a sloping, coffered ceiling. The kitchen features a center island and is flanked by a spacious pantry and a breakfast nook. Living is extended outdoors, with a screened porch and an covered veranda to the rear. The over-sized master suite also opens to the veranda and offers two walk-in closets and a luxury master bathroom. The first floor study make the perfect home office or library, with it’s built-in shelves. A utility room with built-in cabinets and mud room with bench are perfect for keeping the home clean and organized.
Three full bedrooms are upstairs, along with two full bathrooms. Two staircases make it convenient to travel between floors in this sprawling design. A hallway with built-in shelves leads to a bonus room for hobbies or future expansion.
