Leave us your feedback and suggestions at the bottom of this post!

Conceptual Home Design – 1429 is an updated version of one of our most popular house plans, The Satchwell – 967. The garage is now angled to create a courtyard entry. This classic Craftsman design is complete in siding with stone accents. Arches unify this exterior from the windows to the garage doors and porch entry.

This house design enjoys a single dining area that is ideal for family meals. When the weather is nice, take dining to the screened porch and for those cooler days,  the fireplace keeps it cozy.  The great room is spacious and opens to a rear porch and island kitchen.

The master suite features a bathroom designed for two and a dual walk-in closet with dividing wall. A full bath adjoins the study and an additional full bath and linen closet are shared by two secondary bedrooms.

The garage offers plentiful storage for outdoor equipment and just inside is a shared mudroom/utility room that can be conveniently accessed from the side of the angled front porch. An additional storage closet and pantry are nearby for dropping groceries on the way to the kitchen.

Homeowners will enjoy the flexibility that an over-sized bonus room brings. Use if for hobbies, a media room or an additional guest suite. Or leave the space unfinished for storage or future expansion.

I would like this with 3 bedrooms (instead of 4) and access from the outside to a bathroom with a shower for being on a lake site. Make it easy to clean up from being on the lake without having to go through the house. Love having the kitchen on the back side with access to grilling, etc. I like split bedrooms, the angled garage

Love Don Gardner designs–have been keeping track of my favorites for years. Now, we’re looking for a lot–lake view or water lot.

This plan is amazing! We’ve been looking at The Hardesty and The Lucy, but this one might be my new favorite! Just to clarify, is the plan 2311 or 2212 square feet?

Love the angled front, we are looking at the Hartwell plan which we love, but would love a larger kitchen and great room. Do you have any plans close to that? We love your house plans.

Hi Echo if I requested this plan how long would it take to receive as I know it is not in line for completion . I really do not want much changed from the conceptual design.

This is what we have been looking for. Just a few tweaks and it will be the perfect plan for my family. I want to add cute French cottage dormer above big window and add walk in closet to one of the bedrooms. Also, small bath upstairs. Love, love, love!!

Great floor plan, nearly perfect square footage for what my wife, son and I are looking for. Do you happen an basement access option and a rear elevation for this plan?

Hi Jason, with the conceptual plan, we do not create rear renderings or alternate foundations. If this design is chosen for completion we will offer these options when the plan is released.

this plan is 90% of what we are looking for, however, we need a keeping room. Are there any plans similar with keeping rooms?

Nearly perfect! I like the angled garage, it’s nice to see a plan that doesn’t have the garage sticking strait out of the front of the house.
But…I Wished you would design a split bedroom plan that has 4 BR 3 baths 2300-2400 Sqft, with a downstairs flex room, for those of us with mobility issues. An Affordable design with Walk in closets, walk in panty, linen closets, and a mudroom are always a plus!

Finally the perfect plan!! I have requested modifications on an older plan but this meets all our needs. What are the dimensions of the garage and what is the exterior brick siding stone?
