House Plan on the Drawing Board - Plan #1327
Conceptual Plan - #1327
Here's another one of our conceptual plans!

Conceptual Plan 1327 is an update to our design #981 incorporating popular suggestions from our House Plans on the Drawing Board site. The dining areas were combined to one that is open to the great room and the kitchen. A screened porch was added including skylights and a summer kitchen. The master bedroom and secondary bedroom sizes have been increased and now the master has matching his-and-hers walk-in closets. A mud room was added off the garage with a large pantry just outside the kitchen and is adjacent to the large multi-functional utility room. A side entry door was also added to the garage.

This a conceptual plan that we've posted in order to get comments and feedback from our customers. Please take a few moments to tell us what you think!

Oops, I do agree with Darren but I meant to say JT..does anybody ever really read these comments or better yet take our suggestions into consideration? We are planning to build this year and this is our favorite plan. :)

I agree with Darren ’s comments. The double doors could open from the dinning area and I would want the entire back porch screened.
I also need the basement plan...as we would use downstairs rec room and guest area more than bonus room so maybe put down door in foyer and up out of closet space in mud room.

I really like this updated plan. I would suggest that you add a 1/2 bath
powder room to the main level. The best place I can see would be to remove the front door coat closet and make the laundry room smaller. Then use the front entry hallway as the access to the powder room.
Also, I am curious if the front dormer windows actually allow light into the family/dinning room space?

Love the pantry backing to the laundry room idea

One of the smarter plans I’ve seen. Really like the use of space. I think somewhere you need a half bath. Also, I didn’t see a basement plan on it, but adding some recreational space with a guest suite downstairs would really make this plan great. I also agree with one of the other posters that the kitchen and dining room could be a bit larger. With double doors opening into the dining room from the screened in area, passage through that area (especially with people eating at the dining area table) would be tight.

Great use of space and minimum halls..All the buttons here..Nice master, split beds, and screened porch

I would love to see an expanded 2500 model as well with espace and larger kitchen

I like plan 1327. It has outdoor living space and there is no wasted space. We need "smarter" house plans like this now with this economy we’re dealing with.
