Regional Builder Wins Awards for Luxury House Plan

Asheville, NC – Buchanan Construction, LLC of Arden, NC received two prestigious awards from the Asheville Home Builder’s Association for their entry in the 2008 Asheville Parade of Homes, a 3396 square foot home (as built, including bonus space) designed by Donald A.Gardner Architects, Inc. of Greenville, SC.

Buchanan Construction was awarded the Silver Craftsmanship award for homes ranging from $870,000 - $950,000. They were also awarded the Realtor’s Choice – Savvy Shopper award, which was determined by a majority vote of area Realtors and was chosen from the 63 entries as the home Realtors felt is the best value and best choice for long-term investment of all the homes in the Parade.

Built from the Donald Gardner plan #1173 – The Marcourt, a one-story home with a basement and bonus space features European exterior styling, multiple bay windows, custom-style ceiling treatments and a show-stopping octagonal screen porch.
